Interesting you notice the saw-hoss. It had what looked like a T nailed onto one end, giving it the appearance of childs wooden interpretation of a horse. Then a piece of 1 X was nailed to the back. I couldn’t figure it out. “It was an easel my old man made. You leaned the canvas here (pointing to the “neck” ) and straddled the back.”
