Antique Food

This late 1950′s/early 60′s Quik can was filled with pepper packets, as one would expect what with the word “pepper” written all over it.

I love the font that “Nestle” is written in…

If you go to http://www.nesquik.com you’ll see they don’t even make Quik anymore, it’s been rebranded. Been a long time since I shopped for the stuff.
As far as the font, do you think it looked modern back then? Like it was sleek and fast? That “s” is so odd looking.

Quik is gone?!?!?!?!?! When did this happen? Do you think the 3 strawberry Quik’s I put down today were out of date? I feel nauseous…

I could be wrong. My research was strictly web based, which is like armchair quarterbacking. Can you find the old container and tell me if it said, “Quik” or “NesQuik”? I’m also talking about the powdered product they sell.

I don’t have the container anymore but I suspect it was of the same era as your picture since it tasted like pepper milk and there was a lot of paper in it.
