how we used to talk when we used to type
Love the cursive typewriter. This guy writes a full page letter just to order a couple gun stocks. This is why digging in the garbage can be so fun. Unless you think this letter is pointless. Then you’re wondering why someone would dig through garbage to bring dirty old order forms home.
If Elliot could install a buy it now button on my website, we might be able to make some scratch out here.

I went to an old small town museum schoolhouse. They had samples of the letters mothers wrote to the teacher. A lot were barely readable through the hick-ness, the “writing as you talk”, and the total lack of understanding of punctuation and how to construct a phrase. Most were about Tommy needing to be off that afternoon to help with [some chore]. All were very polite (ah, teachers today must be wishing it was still so).
Anyone who thinks humans are getting less literate or less intelligent needs to take a look at those.. even your bad 15 year old boy slang is more readable.
