Fresh from the 1986 Sears catalog, the one with Cheryl Tiegs on the cover. They’re already having ’90′s parties, so I had to hurry up and get this out in the world before no one does an ’80′s party again.

  2. I think I actually owned the teal blue jumper, no joke. My mom LOVES Sears. I, too, wore a white t-shirt I stole from my dad, but usually chose two different pairs of brightly colored socks with white penny loafers and a scarf tight around my head rather than yellow socks with sandals and a Pebble Flintstonesque ponytail. In retrospect, I probably looked like a Sears knockoff of one of the band members of Bananarama. Ah, the 80′s. So brightly colored. Remember Benetton circa 1986? Good times…

  5. Don’t be scared, Rolston, and it’s this Saturday, February 28th, so if you change you’re mind and grow a pair, please stop on by. I make a mean mixed CD each year and, trust me, you’ll wanna get in on that. Plus, I’ve secured a Karaoke machine. How can you resist, man?

    Tomorrow, if you’re feeling it, there’ll be a group of us at Toronado’s (547 Haight St.), celebrating my actual bd. Anytime between 7 and 10pm. Court will be there, along with some of Sandboxers. Come ’round for a drink or two :)
