Helped a woman pick out a Christmas tree today. The lot guy gives you a “fresh cut” with the chainsaw to help the tree suck up water. Notice the bar is on upside down.
Does he have a van and go back and pick them up after Christmas, then stick them back in the ground for another year? It sounds like a carbon friendly save the world idea.
i think he’s in LA. could be wrong. anyway, a lot of people/places have done this before and i think they just return them to nurseries at the end. good idea, but probably only works in more temperate climes. NH, no. too much shock for the tree.
on another note, millar mentioned a round 2 fox skinning and i figured i’d need you if it happened again to hold my hand and call me mountain woman.
There is a guy in Fla, renting potted xmas trees, and he is killing the market with his genius idea.
