Arnica will help, Rolston. Head down to Rainbow. What the hell, man?
Taken from Health911.com:
To alleviate dark, swollen bruises, apply a gel containing Arnica every three hours to encourage healing. Or, apply a tincture or cream to the affected area. Arnica traditionally has been used for muscle aches, sprains and bruises. The gel should improve the swelling, stiffness and discoloration. Some people have a reaction to arnica, so if your skin becomes red, itchy or inflamed, discontinue use.
an old friend of ours used to boil an egg hard, let it cool, split it in half, stick a quarter into the yolk and rub it (yolk and quarter side)around on the bruise.
sounded crazy to me too.
and i never really saw any difference, but she swore by it. so i went along.
Weird, the arm of a lean machine combined with the bruise of a fat, anemic person. You musta whacked it pretty hard? Hard to imagine how you create the momentum with your upper arm to get that result. Did you fall off of something?
You don’t believe it’s from flexing? Truth is, I got tackled in my own kitchen by a man with pony tails. I can’t be sure but I think i fell backwards into the door frame with my arm out, holding him off. It was a good party.
