several hundred cars for a turkey sandwich

This is a popular panhandler’s corner. The City came through this afternoon with a bunch of big trucks and cut down the shrubs alongside the off ramp and hauled away the camps people had made under the cover of overgrowth. I was at the dump myself, hauled the guts of a Victrola out of the rubble to pass on to a friend who repairs them. A giant metal sound horn, the gears, the crank were all there.

  1. on an episode of Cops They teamed up with Town officials, the pigs would secure the area, and they would hack the vegetation down and haul the hoover blankets out of the under passes, it is rather funny about the hoover blankets, it is a reference from the depression, we may all be covering up w/ bush blankets

  2. at least in a hooverville they had shacks, today all they get is a blanket…i don’t know about new hampshire but it seems like business as usual, even though people are joking about standing in bread lines again. I don’t have money to move out of banks or markets, so what can I do to prepare? Hoard Bush Blankets? I went to the gun shop today and looked at pistols…
