dancin’ with the devil
What is Dante going to think? I worked for Wal*Mart yesterday, moving furniture and set pieces (fake walls and windows) to a photo studio for an advertising shoot. I worked for two hours and they paid me for four. Handsomely. What was the problem with Wal*Mart again?
Nothing is wrong with Wal*Mart as long as the following conditions appeal to you:
your employees = unorganized wage slaves
your products = plastic chinese imports
your clothes = sweatshop rags
your communities = coca-colonized
your health = compromised
your Soul = Was $7.99…NOW $6.99

oggy, my point was, they paid me almost ten times minimum wage, which left me thinking for a moment wal*mart might not be so bad, but i realize they pay top dollar to their advertising people because those are the people in a position to decline working for them, whereas those who must work for them have no bargaining power.

You may have sold your soul last week, Jon, but by coming clean you’ve helped reunite two estranged lovers.
