A Murder/Suicide/Love Song
I wrote a murder/suicide/love song.
click on the shotgun to listen
I sang “global warning” instead of global warming, like I meant to…but that’s country. Recording it in mono was just stupid.
The full set of lyrics:
Shoot me first, so I can come too
you oughtta know by now
I wanna be with you
global warmin’
terrorist attack
china’s on the rise
not a lotta happy facts
your nose is big
your tits are small
your curled up under the covers
crying in a ball
life’s so crazy
what’s the point
load another shell
and we’ll blow this joint
jon rolston or wahtever your name is that song rocks and that is a great take that well deserves to be presrved thanks for letting mer us hear it i;m a bette4r man for having heard it as it is good to hear and i will listen to it again soon. -z

It was me covering an old Rusty Sunshine and the Sunset Scavengers tune…
I’m really glad you took the time to let me know you appreciated it z. I had a guitar solo on the first take but the vocals suffered. someday I might try to figure out howto get the solo out of that version and into the new one.
Say hi to the family…

Brings me back to thinking ’bout two guys and an equal number of guitars; a bar somewhere south of
SanFrancisco; and a seed that was planted and then watered by a thirsty audiences’ indiference.
You still have the chops you son’bitch!

It’s tough to keep goin’ when the highlight of your career was your first show…
but we kept on. hitchhiking to Sacremento wasn’t the best move for the bands career, was it?
