Old light cans, gang boxes, breakers, conduit, everything but the copper scraps. So many light fixtures too, and threaded nipple, which are quite often aluminum. It was a big shop, run by a few brothers with Australian accents. They had some Latinos helping. Domingo helped me load up. When you load you gotta separate. Aluminum is 49 cents a pound dirty while scrap tin is only 10. So I ask Domingo how to say magnet. "ee'mahn," he says. I think, "he-man." These aren't economists, they're pundits for the rich people, and quite lazy too if that's all they can come up with. It's also pretty stupid, because poor people don't spend, and if they don't spend, businesses make less money, and it's like the snake eating it's tail. The rich capitalists are loving this time, because they get to trash people around and they will take it, because "times are tough". Meanwhile they have taken very little "tough" themselves, they are still making the same outrageous salaries, and even getting tax cuts!
