I worked in a powder coating factory in my hometown in the summer between my high school junior and senior years. Fun! Spent most of every shift sweating in a hot little box on the line spraying engine blocks with antifreeze (never clear on the why of that, but I got the how down pretty quickly). Wore a rubber apron and a clear plastic visor - but still ended up soaked through - and sang Beatles songs (I was really into the White Album at the time) at the top of my lungs because it was so loud in there that no one could hear me.
