I’ve known a few guys over the years who carried a small ball peen just like the one she has. It used to be the fashionable weapon of choice amongst certain biker gangs.
Now days it seems as though the hammer has faded from popularity, which seems like a shame.

I’m totally jealous of your Croatian notebook, but can’t understand what doesn’t make sense. That’s a typical Croatian scene. The torch is known as a “Croatian flashlight” and he’s using it to see that junkyard engine in broad daylight because his sunglasses are too dark. Also, that’s how men wear t-shirts in Croatia – helps fill out the package. Croatian women wear denim only, at all times. The ball-peen hammer is odd though – maybe she’d already hit him once and he didn’t even notice. That would be kind of funny to a Croatian woman, since they’re well-known for their hammer-swinging abilities.
