He may not remember. These are his wife's relatives. I've always loved Bakersfield, it is the home of "The California Sound" in country western music. Buck Owens, Merle Haggard and others are from there. Cole showed me this photo from a family reunion (probably in the late 1990's) and I asked for it. It helps build the myth of Bakersfield as paradise. I'll be spending New Years Eve there with Doug and his lady, Jenny, who grew up there. I was hoping sea n would recognize this and comment.
