		<description>This was so deep in the mission it became excelsior.  (San Francisco)  I looked up excelsior once in the dictionary, it is wood shaving packing material.  Why that became the name of a district, I don&#039;t know.  A lot of warehouses?  
I wanted to title this post, &quot;Those Mexicans will say anything&quot;, but it was starting to get a little racist in here.  However, from what little I understand of Mexican Spanish, it does seem that Political Correctness has not hit that culture yet.  
Prime example:  Chino means Chinaman.  The burrito joint here in the richmond (a predominantly asian district) is called Chino&#039;s.  I can not imagine opening up a sandwich shop called Chinaman&#039;s. 
If you&#039;re fat, they call you fat.  If you are black they call you black.  
Can someone correct me where I&#039;m wrong?  Help me understand?</description>
