I asked him if that included Buttermilk Bars. He asked, what the fuck is a buttermilk bar. I said, it's them donut-like things with the chocolate or glaze. They're basically a donut. He said that if they were basically a donut then yes, I wasn't worth one of those either. The he asked me if I had remembered to turn the water off for the horses. Water? Russ swore and turned the truck around. I almost said I was sorry but it would have only made things worse. Russ once told me that my work ethic wasn’t worth a donut.
