Who knew the forehead was crucial to the profile? I wonder what will become of his legacy? Will he fade into history, or will the state of new hampshire tax bingo parlors and candlepin bowling lanes to fund a plastic reconstruction?

We need a new icon. I'm throwing the smelt in the ring. The tiny little fish that spawns in freshwater rivers and lives the rest of its life in the salty ocean. Ice fishermen dip silk line into holes punched through the frozen tops of lakes and bays to hook the oily fucker.

That's new hampshire. Read more about them at wikipedia:

Too bad he lost his forehead. Our really great friend, who like everyone else is pregnant, went to NH, got stuck there on 9/11/01, had to hang out with nancy, so my mom took her to see the old guy. She was impressed. His forehead fell off shortly after that.
You write damn good, Jon. Thanks.
