I will say this: people don't know shit about good donuts until they've had one from Southern Made. Krispy Kreme had two owners back in the day. When they split, one started Southern Made and the other stuck with Krispy Kreme--or maybe it was the other way around. Anyway, Elvis Presley said it was the best damn donut he'd ever had. They still have one in Shreveport, Louisiana in the ghetto (ONLY place to get good food!) It's located near Willis Knighton Hospital/Hearne Avenue.
