From the vantage point that we’re exposed to, who’s to say that looking good on TV shouldn’t be the most important criterion?

Colin Powell’s endorsement of Obama basically says that, as long as you surround yourself with strong people, the qualities of ‘looking good on tv’ are as or more important than anything else.
Pretty interesting coming from someone who has been so close to the President in the past. If I thought that what he said could be even remotely true, I would be very influenced by these comments. I can’t help but wonder if Secretary Powell has ulterior motives, here.
